Paging @randompenguin for this feedback although unsure what to make of it. To me it feels as if quite some time went into the color scheme of bookface.
Would it make sense to also use the lighter blue, which is used for numbers on the left column also for the number indicators in the timeline?

Although I have to admit, with images and post previews etc in the timeline the colored number indicators don't look distracting to me. I am using bookface dark and maybe I just got used to the UI? It's strange but UI changes e.g. like Apple did in macOS Tahoe feel alien at first and often times over time they'll grow on you. Just something to keep in mind for this discussion.

Bookface uses the Frio preset "Accent Color" or custom "Link Color"

Display Settings Custom Color

Additionally, you can load a user content stylesheet to customize even more Bookface variables: gitlab.com/randompenguin/bookf…

(I'm working on an add-on that lets you set these variables on the server just for your own account, but it's not quite ready to release yet).
